Hogg's Falls

Landscape Features: Waterfall and forested river gorge with rocky stream bed and pools & riffles; bedrock outcrops with large boulders

Flora & Fauna: Diverse & mature mixed forest of maple, hemlock and white pine


Location: Near Flesherton, on Lower Falls Road, 1km north of County Road 4

Facilities: Parking lot (no charge)

Access: Along the Bruce Trail; wide walking path; about 100m from the parking lot

Winter Access: Unknown; it's a short walk from the parking lot, although the parking lot may not be cleared of snow

Notes: The view of the falls is from above with no safe access to the bottom; this is a beautful, fairly natural stretch of the Boyne River with pools and riffles along its length and fairly dense and natural forest on the opposite bank

Hazards & Precautions: Cliff edges, fast flowing water, rocks slippery when wet
