Landscape Features:  Waterfall, small river gorge and forested river; some bedrock outcrops, large boulders, glacial potholes; large, unremarkable reservoir

Autumn colours, but deciduous forest is immature and unremarkable

Flora & Fauna:  Mature stands of white cedar; spring wildflowers


Location: Along Cambellville Road, 3km east of Guelph Line (North) exit on Hwy 401

Facilities: Parking lot (paid), picnic tables, viewing platform for waterfall, interpretive signs

Access: Along the Bruce Trail and side trails, some narrow, rugged and/or rocky trail, some wide walking paths; open dawn to dusk

Winter Access: Walking/hiking possible, depending on snow conditions, Nordic skiing, Snowshoeing

Hazards & Precautions: Rugged rocky trail, cliff edges; fast-flowing water

Notes: Waterfall with viewing platform; difficult access to bottom of gorge; deciduous and mixed forest areas are scrubby and not terribly photogenic
